Cat Sawai
Regional Director | Honolulu
Cat Sawai is a certified Yoga Therapy Instructor, Health Coach, and Regional Director of Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi Health Centers in Hawaii. With over 15 years of experience with Body & Brain, she is a passionate advocate for the mind–body connection and its ability to create a healthier, more energized life. Before transitioning into wellness, Cat spent 22 years as a Civil Engineer with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, developing strong collaboration, communication, and project-leadership skills. Her personal wellness transformation in 2009 inspired her to dedicate her career to helping others strengthen their bodies, manage stress, and rediscover confidence. Cat has worked extensively with senior communities, nonprofits, and government organizations across Hawaii, delivering accessible wellness programs that support mobility, balance, and emotional well-being. She also leads recurring wellness retreats on the Big Island, offering immersive experiences that help participants reset, heal, and reconnect with themselves through nature-based practices and mindful movement. Known for her patience, empathy, and intuitive guidance, Cat blends functional movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to help clients build physical stability and emotional resilience. Her mission is to empower individuals—especially older adults—to cultivate strength, balance, and a more fulfilling, confident life.
