Isabel Pastor is the Executive Director of the IBREA Foundation and the Editor-in-Chief of Brain World magazine. IBREA is an NGO with consultative status at the United Nations, dedicated to advancing human potential through international collaboration and brain-based education. Isabel has practiced Body & Brain Training since 2009, beginning during her graduate studies in Public Administration at Harvard University. Originally from Spain, she earned her Law degree before working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), where she spent five years supporting legal migration to the European Union from the Western Balkans and North Africa. With deep expertise in body–brain integration and holistic living, Isabel has designed and delivered wellness programs in multiple countries, collaborating with governments, NGOs, international organizations, women’s groups, and public school systems. In El Salvador, she led large-scale education and wellness initiatives, expanding Brain Education nationwide to reduce school violence, strengthen emotional resilience, and support community healing. For the past 15 years, she has worked with the Ministry of Education to bring brain-based curriculum to 25% of the country’s public schools, reaching principals, teachers, and students. She also co-founded and supports the Harlem Brain Training Center in New York City, bringing emotional wellness and brain-based education to underserved urban communities. In addition, Isabel contributes to global outreach across Latin America, Africa, and Asia through IBREA’s international network. Her teachings transcend culture and background, helping people tap into their shared humanity and innate brain potential to create healthier, more conscious, and empowered communities.
