Melanie Newman is a Program Manager and Lead Instructor with 9 years of experience at Body & Brain, teaching BNB Yoga, Qigong & Tai Chi, Core Strength, and Rhythm & Vibration classes. As a holistic wellness coach specializing in mind–body empowerment, she guides individuals through energy-based practices, mindful movement, and emotional awareness to create meaningful, lasting change. Before transitioning into wellness full-time, Melanie worked as an elementary school teacher, an experience that strengthened her empathy, communication, and ability to support individuals with diverse emotional and learning needs. This background continues to shape her warm, intuitive approach to teaching and coaching. Having personally overcome anxiety and depression as a young adult, Melanie brings deep compassion and authenticity to her work. Her mission is to help others move beyond emotional limitations, reconnect with their true value, and embrace themselves fully. Melanie’s teaching style is warm, joyful, and clear—creating a supportive environment where people feel seen, encouraged, and empowered.
